This is the stem-mount version of Besa Lighting’s Pica 9, a tapered glass shade with a band of real sand inside. The shade is the same as on the cord pendant, 8.7 inches across and 6.6 inches tall, but it hangs from a plated steel stem kit: a telescoping section with up to 3 inches of adjustment plus 3", 6", 12" and 18" sections, 39 inches as standard and up to 10 feet with extra sections. A swivel at the 5-inch canopy lets the stem hang plumb under a sloped ceiling.

The outer surface is glossy clear glass; inside, a hand-applied band of real sand carries the color, so Gold Sand, Red Sand and White Sand each shimmer as the grains refract the light. Order the LED version (a 9W replaceable, dimmable LED source is included: 800 lumens at 3000K, CRI 90+) or the incandescent version for a 75W A19 medium-base (E26) bulb of your choice. Buy once: durability and care

With the power off and the glass cool, wipe it with a soft cloth lightly misted with glass cleaner (spray the cloth, not the fixture) and dust the stem and canopy with a dry microfiber cloth (our advice). The LED source is replaceable. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
