This is the cable-hung version of Besa Lighting’s Pica 9, a tapered glass shade with a band of real sand inside. The shade is the same as on the cord pendant, 8.7 inches across and 6.6 inches tall, but the weight is carried by a single 10-foot aircraft-quality stainless steel cable with a 10-foot AWM power cord alongside, under a 5-inch dome canopy in plated stamped steel. It installs to a standard 4-inch box and suits sloped ceilings.

The outer surface is glossy clear glass; inside, a hand-applied band of real sand carries the color, so Gold Sand, Red Sand and White Sand each shimmer as the grains refract the light. Order the LED version (a 9W replaceable, dimmable LED source is included: 800 lumens at 3000K, CRI 90+) or the incandescent version for a 75W A19 medium-base (E26) bulb of your choice.
