Thin LED is a very slim LED bar that hangs from the ceiling. Choose a horizontal model to run across a table or a vertical one to drop down a wall or stair, and pick Chrome, Copper or Gold to match your hardware.

It has two dimming methods built in, 0-10V and ELV (reverse phase), and runs at 3000K.

The designer and the story

Thin LED is part of the Origins collection from Viso Design Studio, the Toronto lighting studio founded in 1999. It has appeared in projects such as Host on Howard, the Ritz-Carlton Residences and Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Las Vegas, and Viso offers custom canopies.

Who this is not for

The LED is integrated and the bar is slim, so it is a clean accent rather than a strong room light. It is also not for anyone who needs delivery in days.

Horizontal or vertical: which should I order?

Horizontal models hang flat above a table or counter. Vertical models hang as a tall line down a wall or stair. Order the model that matches how you plan to hang it.

What length do I need?

As a guide, keep a horizontal bar roughly a third to two-thirds the length of the table. The 27.4 inch suits a small table, the 38 inch a medium one and the 48.6 inch a long table or island.

What dimmer works with Thin LED?

Viso lists dual dimming: 0-10V and ELV (reverse phase). Choose one of those types of dimmers.

Can I combine horizontal and vertical bars in one room?

Yes. They share the same slim profile and finishes, so a horizontal bar over a table and vertical bars on a nearby wall look related. Match the finish across all of them.

Can I get a custom canopy?
