Chestnut is a metal light fixture with a champagne finish that Viso lets you install on a ceiling, as a wall sconce or as decorative art. The standard clusters use 4, 6, 9 or 11 plates, and each plate's angle can be adjusted individually.

Each plate has a 12 W LED at 3000K and a white diffuser. Viso lists dimming options and custom clusters.

The designer and the story

Chestnut comes from Viso Design Studio, the Toronto lighting studio founded in 1999. The studio designs and fabricates fixtures with architects and interior designers, which is why Chestnut can be a ceiling light, a sconce or a piece of wall art.

Which cluster size should I choose?

The 4-light extends about 32 x 36 inches, the 6-light about 32 x 51 inches, the 9-light about 45 x 65 inches and the 11-light about 45 x 70 inches. Match the cluster to the wall or ceiling area.

How is it wired?

Plates attach to individual J-boxes, or to a single J-box with a pipe kit. The pipe kit is not included. Use a licensed electrician and the installation guide.

Can I adjust the plates?

Yes. Viso says the angle of each plate can be adjusted individually.

Does it come with diffusers?

Yes, a white diffuser is included.

Can it be dimmed?

Viso lists dimming options. Confirm the driver type before choosing your dimmer.
