Tyche 55" Faux Travertine Indoor/Outdoor Concrete Rectangular Coffee Table by TOV Furniture

An indoor/outdoor coffee table from TOV Furniture.

The Tyche 55" Faux Travertine Indoor/Outdoor Concrete Rectangular Coffee Table is an indoor/outdoor coffee table made of concrete finished to look like travertine concrete in Travertine. Cast concrete gives it real heft and a stone-like surface and the travertine look brings a pitted, sun-bleached texture. It measures 55.1"W x 29.9"D x 15"H with a rectangular top, and TOV rates the top for up to 175 lb. At 15" it is a few inches below a typical 17–19" sofa seat, the classic coffee-table height, and it suits a sofa about 77–88" long (our guide). TOV rates it for indoor and outdoor use and recommends covering it in bad weather or when not in use.

Best for

Best for living rooms and dens in front of the sofa, and patios, decks and covered porches in front of outdoor seating. Leave about 16–18" between the sofa seat and the table edge and 30–36" for walkways, and choose a table about two-thirds the length of your sofa (our guide). This one: at 55.1" it suits a sofa about 77–88" long. A rectangular top follows the line of a long sofa and gives the most surface (our guide).

Who this is not for

• Loveseats and small apartments: at 55.1" it is sized for a sofa about 77" long or more (our guide: a coffee table about two-thirds of the sofa length).
• Heavy loads: TOV rates the top for up to 175 lb.
• Anyone who wants a stain-proof surface: concrete is porous and should be wiped quickly and used with coasters (our advice).
• Anyone who wants to leave it uncovered in all weather: TOV recommends covering it during bad weather or when not in use.
