Leg finishes

The Zeyno Wood stool lifts the channel-stitched Zeyno seat to counter or bar height on four solid wood legs braced by a footrest. It brings the warmth of a wood dining chair to kitchen islands and restaurant bars, with a back tall enough to lean on through a long meal. Choose beech in walnut or wenge finish, solid American walnut, or black sandblasted ash with a brass footrest that holds up to shoes better than a wood rung. The seat is a sprung steel frame in molded foam, with a removable Velcro slipcover.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 34 to 36 in counters; choose Bar for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 22 in of counter edge per stool.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.
• Pick the black ash base with brass footrest for heavy-use bars; metal wears better than wood under shoes.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
