Seat frame and base finishes

The Zebra Piston stool puts the wire Zebra armchair on a gas-lift swivel column with a round base and a full footrest ring, so one stool covers both counter and bar heights. The seat moves from 21 to 31 in, which suits kitchens with mixed counter heights, households of different sizes, and bars that also serve at a lower ledge. The round base comes in polished or brushed stainless steel or black, and the shell in black, chrome, brass or polished gold, with a removable seat and back pad.

Planning notes

• One stool covers counter (about 24 in seat) and bar (about 30 in seat) heights.
• Allow about 28 in of counter edge per stool with arms.
• Black bases may be made to order and take longer to ship.
• Lower the seat fully before sliding the arms under a counter.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and base combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
