Base finish

The Washington is a club-style swivel armchair: a squared leather body with flat track arms and a gently reclined back, turning on a black metal star base. The swivel lets you face the fireplace, the television or the conversation without moving the chair, which is why it works so well in dens, home offices, reading rooms and executive lounges. At 28.7 in wide and 33.8 in deep it is a full-size lounge seat with a low 15.7 in seat for relaxed sitting. It is upholstered in dark brown leather over a black base.

Care

Wipe faux leather, PPM and leather with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric, velvet and boucle regularly with a soft brush and blot spills at once; do not rub. Keep the chair out of strong direct sun to protect the color, and wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
