Base finishes

The Tulip office chair brings the tall, petal-shaped Tulip seat to the desk on a gas-lift swivel base. With no arms, it slides close to a desk or conference table and suits compact home offices where a bulky task chair would dominate. The seat raises from 16 to 19 in and turns a full circle; choose a 25.5 in base in chrome or black, or a 26 in aluminum base. Upholstery is black PPM or light grey Camira Era over a sprung steel frame, a dressier look for executive offices, studios and reception desks.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
