Base finishes

The Tribeca Piston puts the Tribeca armchair shell on a gas-lift column, so one stool adjusts from counter to bar height with a lever and swivels all the way around. A full footrest ring circles the column and a round base keeps it steady, making it the pick for homes with mixed counter heights, or for anyone who shares a stool with people of different heights. Choose polished stainless steel, brushed stainless steel or black. The shell uses a steel frame with S-shaped springs and injected foam, so the seat flexes slightly as you sit.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
