The Trapani sets an oval back of hand-woven natural cane into a solid ash ring, over a padded nubuck PPM seat on four sturdy ash legs. The sandblasted walnut finish brings out the grain of the ash, while the wenge finish turns the frame almost black for a graphic contrast with the pale cane. It suits dining rooms and cafés that want warmth and texture without the fragility of an all-cane chair. The maker rates it for residential and high-traffic commercial use.

Care

Wipe PPM and faux leather with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Dust the cane with a soft brush and keep it away from direct heat and long, strong sun, which dry the weave. Wipe the frame with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Cane, wood and upholstery vary naturally in tone from piece to piece.
