The Tarsos stands on crossed X-shaped supports in a dark walnut finish, a lighter, more open frame than a solid pedestal. Above it sits a 12 mm solid ceramic top in a travertine or snow Carrara look, with softly curved edges. The table runs about 71 in closed and extends to 102.5 in, so it moves from a weeknight table for six to a dinner party for ten. It suits Modern dining rooms that want the stone look without stone upkeep.

Care

Ceramic is highly resistant to heat, stains and scratches; clean it with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap, then dry. Avoid hard knocks to the edge. Dust the wood base with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Before extending the table, clear the top and pull the ends apart evenly.
