Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM is a polyurethane performance leather. The off white seat is a boucle fabric, Camira Blazer is a woven wool contract fabric, and the black seat is genuine leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.
Leg finishes
The Soho Wood armchair is the restaurant workhorse of the Soho family: a squared, fully upholstered armchair on four tapered solid wood legs, seen in steakhouses and hotel dining rooms as often as in family kitchens. Choose walnut- or wenge-finish beech, wenge-finish oak, black sandblasted ash, or solid American walnut. For commercial rooms, add side stretchers that brace the front and back legs; they are recommended wherever chairs are rocked back or dragged daily. The seat, back and arms share a sprung steel frame in molded foam under a removable Velcro slipcover.

Care
Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

Do I need the stretchers?
Stretchers are side rails that brace the front and back legs. They are recommended for commercial use, where chairs are dragged or tipped back every day. At home most people order without.
Which woods are offered?
Beech in a walnut or wenge finish, oak in a wenge finish, black sandblasted ash, and solid American walnut.
Will the arms fit under my table?
The arms are 26.5 in high. Most dining tables have an apron 25 to 27 in from the floor, so check your table: if the apron is lower than the arms, the chair will stop at the table edge.
How much weight does it hold?
It is rated for 350 lb.
Why do the prices differ?
Faux leather seats cost least, PPM and boucle sit one step up, and Camira Blazer wool and genuine leather are the top tier. Side stretchers add a small surcharge; all five woods cost the same.
