Fabric and Chaise Side. Simena is stocked in three tweeds (two greys and a cream) and in red velvet. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finish

Simena is a relaxed sectional with a long chaise, 122 inches across and 68 inches deep at the chaise, sized for a living room wall with space to stretch out. It rests on a continuous tubular metal base with cylindrical stainless steel legs and plastic glides, which keeps the low, horizontal body looking light. The solid hardwood frame is wrapped in a Velcro-enclosed slipcover, and the loose cushions are zippered and filled with down and feather, with a row of 20 inch square back cushions. Order the chaise on the left or right, in a soft tweed for a Scandinavian or Transitional room or in red velvet for a bolder Modern look.

Where to use it

• Living rooms and family rooms with one long wall
• Media rooms where a chaise is the best seat
• Condo and apartment living spaces
• Scandinavian, Transitional and Modern interiors

Planning notes

• Allow 122 in of wall and 68 in of depth on the chaise side.
• Choose the chaise side facing the sofa: a right-facing chaise sits on your right.
• The raised steel base leaves room for a robot vacuum and makes the sofa look lighter.
• Down and feather cushions need regular plumping to keep their shape.
• Shipping: in-stock sectionals ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your fabric and layout combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship. Large upholstery ships by freight; plan a clear path and doorways for delivery.

Who it is not for

• Corner layouts that need two long sides: see the Nirvana corner sofa
• Anyone who prefers firm, fixed cushions
• Outdoor use

Care

Vacuum fabric and boucle upholstery weekly with a soft brush attachment and blot spills right away with a clean, damp cloth; do not rub. Wipe PPM and leather with a soft, damp cloth and dry it. Turn and plump loose cushions regularly so they wear evenly, and keep the sofa out of strong direct sun, which fades fabric and dries leather. Dust metal legs with a dry cloth. Fabric and leather vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
