Ryoichi Kishi is a compact, rounded lounge chair: a soft boucle seat and a low, enveloping back rest on a chunky solid ash frame whose legs join at the floor like runners. The thick wood and gentle curves give it a calm, Japandi character that suits bedrooms, reading corners and boutique hotel rooms. Natural ash keeps the chair pale and Scandinavian; walnut-finish ash adds contrast against white boucle. At 25 in wide and 28 in deep, it fits where a bulkier club chair would not.

Care

Vacuum the boucle regularly with a brush attachment and blot spills with a clean, damp cloth without rubbing. Dust the ash frame with a dry cloth and keep it out of long direct sun to limit fading. Wood and boucle vary slightly from piece to piece.
