Base finish

Reiss is a cantilever chair: a single chrome steel frame runs along the floor and curves up to carry the seat, so there are no back legs and the seat has a gentle spring as you sit. The upholstered seat and tall back are cut as one clean profile in PPM performance leather or Camira Blazer wool. That springy, easy-to-clean combination is why cantilever chairs are a staple in meeting rooms, waiting areas and modern dining rooms. The open front also makes the chair easy to slide under a table and simple to clean around.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
