Leg finishes

The Prisma DR-Wood stool sets the faceted Prisma seat on four straight, tapered solid wood legs joined by a round metal footrest ring, a classic bistro-style base that holds up to daily restaurant use. The ring braces the legs and gives a durable place to rest your feet, so the wood does not wear where shoes land. Choose beech in a walnut or natural finish with a chrome or gold ring, or solid American walnut with chrome. The seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs in molded foam under a removable slipcover, at home in Transitional, Mid-Century and Modern kitchens.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 35 to 37 in counters and kitchen islands; choose Bar for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter for knees, and about 22 in of counter edge per stool.
• The metal ring takes foot traffic, so it keeps the wood legs looking new in busy kitchens.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

Counter stools have a 25.5 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters. Bar stools have a 30.5 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Does it swivel?
