Frame finishes

Plattner is a tub-style dining armchair: an upholstered shell wraps from the back around into low arms, and the whole shell sits on a solid ash base whose legs rise to cradle the seat. The enclosed back gives the hug of a lounge chair at dining height, which makes it a natural pick for host chairs, the open side of a restaurant banquette, and home offices. The shell comes in smooth bone PPM or iron grey nubuck PPM, and the ash base in a walnut or black finish. At 18.3 lb it is easy to move, and it is rated for 350 lb.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
