Frame finishes

The soft-seat Pierre J. arm stool lifts the armchair's padded seat and natural cane back to counter or bar height on a tall solid ash compass frame, braced low by a rail that serves as a footrest. The arms make it a comfortable stool for long evenings at a kitchen island or a hotel bar, where armless stools can feel perched. The seat is upholstered in PPM-FR, PPM-S, white boucle or Camira Blazer wool, and the ash comes in walnut, black or natural. Choose a 26 in counter seat or a 30 in bar seat; built in Türkiye, rated 350 lb.

• Choose Counter (26 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar (30 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 24 to 26 in of counter per stool because of the arms.
• Arm height is 32.7 in (counter) and 36.5 in (bar); check it against the underside of your counter.

Care

Wipe PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum boucle and wool regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the ash frame with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Keep cane away from direct heat sources and wipe it with a barely damp cloth; natural cane can tighten or slacken a little with humidity, which is normal. Wood, cane and upholstery vary slightly from piece to piece.
