Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM and PPM-FR are polyurethane performance leathers; velvet, boucle and Camira Era are upholstery fabrics. Camira Blazer is a pure new wool, and full-grain leather is the top tier. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Pera Baba sets the Pera seat on a frame of solid wood legs with a graphic, high-contrast look, offered in just two finishes: teak stained a near-black wenge, or sungkai in a pale white oak tone. It is a strong choice for design-led kitchens, cocktail bars and boutique hotels that want a wood stool with a sharper, more architectural line. A memory swivel mechanism is available; it lets the seat turn and return to center and raises the seat by 1 in. The seat is a sprung steel frame in molded foam, with a removable Velcro slipcover.

Planning notes

• Counter (24 in seat) suits 35 to 37 in counters; Bar (29 in seat) suits 40 to 42 in bar tops. Add 1 in with the memory swivel.
• Plan about 24 in of counter per stool, or 26 in with the swivel.
• Leave 10 to 12 in from the seat to the underside of the counter.
• Wenge-finish teak pairs with black hardware; sungkai suits white oak floors and light stone.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
