The Pedasa folding chair is the armless member of the Pedasa teak family: a slatted, steamer-style dining chair that folds flat in one motion and hangs or stacks against a wall when the party is over. It is made of solid grade A teak with mortise and tenon joints, so it feels like a proper dining chair rather than a camp seat. The 18 in seat suits standard patio dining tables, and a waterproof outdoor seat cushion can be added. Keep a set in the garage for extra guests, or use them every day on a small balcony where floor space is tight.

Care

Grade A teak is a naturally oily, weather-resistant hardwood. Left outdoors it slowly weathers to a soft silver-grey, and the grain may rise slightly after the first few soakings. Clean it once or twice a year with a soft brush, mild soap and water; never use a power washer, which erodes the surface. Teak cannot be painted or varnished. For winter storage use a dry shed or garage, and do not move the piece straight from the cold into a heated room, as sudden changes in temperature and humidity can split the wood.
