Base finishes
The Pavilion round sets a walnut veneer circle on the same splayed solid wood frame as the rectangle, so the legs cross beneath the center and leave the edge free. The 36 in top suits two to three in a breakfast nook; the 43.5 in top seats four in a small dining room. Its warm, all-wood look fits Mid-Century and Scandinavian homes. Like the rectangle, it is made for residential use.

Dust the top with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills right away. Use coasters, placemats and trivets; veneer and lacquer can mark from heat and standing water. Avoid silicone polishes and harsh cleaners. Keep the table out of direct sun and away from heaters, which can fade or dry the wood. Grain and tone vary from piece to piece.
