The Paramount round end table is a 20 in teak drinks table that folds flat, made to sit beside a lounge chair or recliner and disappear into a closet when the season ends. Its 18 in height lines up with the arms of the Pedasa recliner and the seat of the Calava lounge chair, so a glass or book is always within reach. The slatted top and folding legs are solid grade A teak with mortise and tenon joints, and at 14 lb it moves easily around the deck.

Care

Grade A teak is a naturally oily, weather-resistant hardwood. Left outdoors it slowly weathers to a soft silver-grey, and the grain may rise slightly after the first few soakings. Clean it once or twice a year with a soft brush, mild soap and water; never use a power washer, which erodes the surface. Teak cannot be painted or varnished. For winter storage use a dry shed or garage, and do not move the piece straight from the cold into a heated room, as sudden changes in temperature and humidity can split the wood.
