The Nardo is a fixed-length rectangular teak dining table with a heavy, solid presence: 63 in long, 36 in wide and built from large grade A teak timbers. Mortise and tenon joints and a weight of about 100 lb keep it planted on decking, stone or grass. At 30 in high it suits standard dining chairs, and the plain, slab-like proportions sit well in Modern, Rustic and Coastal settings. It also doubles as an indoor work or meeting table.

Care
Grade A teak is a naturally oily, weather-resistant hardwood. Left outdoors it slowly weathers to a soft silver-grey, and the grain may rise slightly after the first few soakings. Clean it once or twice a year with a soft brush, mild soap and water; never use a power washer, which erodes the surface. Teak cannot be painted or varnished. For winter storage use a dry shed or garage, and do not move the piece straight from the cold into a heated room, as sudden changes in temperature and humidity can split the wood.
