Martini Cat-Wire is the most accessible Martini stool: the sprung bucket seat set on a frame bent from solid steel rod, with two sled-like side loops tied by a crossing rod that serves as the footrest. The open geometry looks sculptural from every side and keeps sight lines clear across an island. Black and chrome work in Modern and Industrial kitchens, and brass turns the frame into a warm accent for cafés and glam interiors. Every Martini Cat-Wire Counter or Bar Stool is built on a steel seat frame with S-shaped springs set in molded polyurethane foam, with a removable Velcro-fastened slipcover.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 35 to 37 in counters. The bar seat is 27.5 in, a little lower than most bar stools, so it suits bar tops around 38 to 40 in.
• Allow about 24 in of counter per stool.
• The sled-style rod feet spread the load, which is kind to rugs and soft floors.
• The crossing rod is the footrest, so there is no separate ring.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and base combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Yes. The rod that crosses between the two side loops acts as a footrest.

How is this different from the Martini Wire stool?

Both use solid steel rod. The Cat-Wire frame is built from two sled-like side loops; the Martini Wire base uses four rod legs with a wire stretcher and also comes in white, bone and gold.

Why do the prices differ?

PPM, PPM-S and Camira Era seats cost less than Camira Blazer wool seats. The brass frame costs more than chrome or black.
