Base finishes

The Marash Office Chair pairs a soft, armless seat with the open keyhole cut-out in its back, a shape that keeps the chair light-looking at a desk. On a five-star office base it swivels, tilts and rolls, and the gas lift sets the seat between 16 and 18 in. The seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs molded in injected polyurethane foam, under a removable Velcro-fastened cover in velvet, boucle or PPM. It is a good fit for a bedroom desk, a vanity-style work nook or a boutique office where color matters.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
