Base finishes
The Lady dining base is the post and round foot of the Lady table, sold without a top so you can fit your own or replace a worn base. A 27 in chrome-plated solid steel post rises from a flat round base 19.5 in across, putting a finished table at standard dining height. Restaurants use it to standardize a dining floor while mixing glass, wood and laminate tops. The flat foot keeps chair legs and mops from catching.

Care
Wipe the steel with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth and dry it. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and brushed finishes. Check the fixing bolts once a year and tighten if needed.
