Base. The Lady base is chrome-plated solid steel.

This is the tall Lady base: the same flat round chrome foot with a 32 in post for counter height or a 40 in post for bar height. Bars and cafes buy it to build high-tops from their own glass, wood or laminate tops, or to replace a base that has seen years of service. The low round foot stays clear of stool footrests, and the heavy steel keeps a tall table from tipping. Top not included.

Care
Wipe the steel with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth and dry it. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and brushed finishes. Check the fixing bolts once a year and tighten if needed.
