The Kleopatra is a rectangular teak dining table that grows from 71 in to 95 in with a 24 in extension, so one table handles a weeknight dinner for six and a holiday lunch for eight or more. It is solid grade A teak with mortise and tenon joints and a weather-resistant build, at home on a stone terrace or a large deck. The 39.5 in width leaves room for platters down the middle. Indoors it also works as a meeting or work table with a warm, natural look.

Care

Grade A teak is a naturally oily, weather-resistant hardwood. Left outdoors it slowly weathers to a soft silver-grey, and the grain may rise slightly after the first few soakings. Clean it once or twice a year with a soft brush, mild soap and water; never use a power washer, which erodes the surface. Teak cannot be painted or varnished. For winter storage use a dry shed or garage, and do not move the piece straight from the cold into a heated room, as sudden changes in temperature and humidity can split the wood.
