The Janelle Dining Chair is all wood: one molded plywood shell with an ash veneer forms the seat and back, and it sits on four solid ash legs. With no upholstery to stain, it is one of the easiest chairs to keep clean in a busy kitchen, cafe or staff room, and it suits Scandinavian, Japandi and minimal Modern rooms. The shell and legs are finished as a set in walnut or black. The gently curved back gives support without arms, and the chair is narrow enough to fit six along a standard dining table.

• At about 20 in wide, allow 22 in of table edge per chair.
• Add a seat pad if you want softness; the shell itself is bare wood.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
