Base finishes

Harput Pyramid Wood turns the square Harput armchair into a swivel dining chair: four solid wood legs angle in to a central swivel mechanism, forming the pyramid base. You can turn toward a conversation or swing out from the table without dragging the chair, which is handy on rugs and in tight dining nooks. Beech in walnut finish and natural ash keep it light and Scandinavian; solid American walnut with a black mechanism is the richest version. The seat sits slightly higher than other Harput bases, at 18 in, with arms at 26 in.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
