Base finishes

Put the compact Harput lounge on the oval base when every chair in the room should line up again on its own. The base is a low oval of four flared arms with a memory swivel and auto-return, in polished stainless steel or black powder coat. The square seat with flat arms is 22 in wide, so the chair fits hotel rooms, small offices and tight reception areas, yet the oval base keeps it stable when someone leans on an arm. The seat is a sprung steel frame in molded foam with a replaceable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
