Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM is a polyurethane performance leather, PPM-FR is its flame-retardant version, nubuck is a soft brushed finish, and the off-white and blue Camira Yoredale seats are boucle weaves. Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, Camira Blazer is a wool contract fabric, and the caramel seat is full-grain Italian leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Gazel Arm Wood stool is the armed version of the Gazel Wood: a deeper shell whose sides rise into low arms, set on four solid wood legs with a round metal ring for the feet. The arms hold you in place on a tall seat, which makes it a comfortable choice for long dinners at an island or an evening at a home bar. Choose solid beech in walnut or natural finish with a chrome or gold ring, or solid American walnut with chrome. Inside the seat, a steel frame with S-shaped springs is molded into polyurethane foam, finished with a removable slipcover.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar for 39 to 41 in bar tops.
• Check that the arms clear the underside of your counter if you want stools to tuck in.
• Allow about 24 in of counter per stool.
• For heavy restaurant use the maker recommends stretchers; contact us before ordering for commercial use.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
