Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry seat. PPM and PPM-FR are polyurethane performance leathers, nubuck is a soft brushed fabric, and the boucle options include Camira Yoredale. Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, Camira Blazer is a wool cloth, and the caramel option is full-grain Italian leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Gazel Arm Wire wraps the Gazel shell forward into low arms and sets it on a sled of bent solid steel wire. The arms sit at 22.5 in, low enough to slide under most dining tables, so you get the support of an armchair without giving up table space. Wire runners with built-in glides make it easy to pull in and out, and the open frame keeps a row of chairs looking light. Its seat is sprung: a steel frame with S-shaped springs, molded in polyurethane foam.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Will the arms fit under my table?

The arms are 22.5 in high. Most dining tables have an apron around 24 to 25 in from the floor, so they usually tuck in; measure yours to be sure.
