Gakko is a small square end table on a faceted, hourglass-shaped steel frame that looks like a piece of line drawing. This version tops the brushed stainless steel frame with a black glass square, a sharp, graphic combination for modern and industrial rooms. At 18 inches high and just over 14 inches square, it fits beside a low lounge chair, at the end of a sofa or between two beds. It also matches the Gakko dining chairs by the same designer.

Clean the glass with a soft cloth and a standard glass cleaner, and lift objects rather than sliding them across the top. Wipe the metal frame with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads, which scratch polished and brushed steel.
