Foureyes is a square block of solid teak with a large round opening cut through each of its four sides, which gives a heavy material a light, sculptural look from every angle. At 18 in high and 12 in square it is a sturdy side table beside a sofa or lounge chair, a stool rated for 500 lb, or a pedestal for a plant. The grade A teak is weather resistant, so it can move from the living room to a covered terrace, and each piece shows its own grain and color.

Each piece is cut from solid teak, so color, grain and shape vary, and small surface cracks (checks) can appear as the wood adjusts to moisture and temperature. This is normal and does not affect strength. Indoors, dust with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Outdoors, the wood weathers toward grey in the sun; cover it or bring it inside during bad weather and when it is not in use.
