Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S and PPM-FR are polyurethane performance leathers that wipe clean; the beige boucle is a soft looped fabric. Camira Blazer is a contract-grade wool, and genuine leather is the top tier. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Eiffel Wire is the lightest-looking chair in the Eiffel family: the curved, upholstered shell sits on a solid wire base whose rods cross under the seat, so the chair reads almost transparent around a dining table. It suits breakfast nooks, small dining rooms, cafes and bistro tables where a bulky chair would crowd the floor. The wire base is offered in chrome, black, white, red or bone powder coat, plus gold-plated and brass versions, which lets you match the chair to light fittings or table legs. Inside the shell is a steel frame with S-shaped springs under injection-molded polyurethane foam, finished with a removable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
