Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S, PPM-FR and Italian PPM are polyurethane performance leathers, and boucle is a soft looped fabric. Camira Blazer wool and genuine leather are the premium seats. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Eiffel Wire stool lifts the armless Eiffel seat onto an open frame of solid steel wire, bent into a light cage with a footrest rail near the bottom. It is the lightest-looking stool in the Eiffel range, so a long row at a kitchen island or bar reads as airy rather than crowded. Choose counter height with a 23.6 in seat or bar height with a 28.7 in seat, in chrome, black, white, bone or gold. The seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs in molded polyurethane foam, under a removable Velcro slipcover.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 22 to 24 in of counter per stool.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.
• White is not stocked at counter height, so white counter stools take the longer lead time.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and base combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Counter or bar height?

The counter stool has a 23.6 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters. The bar stool has a 28.7 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Is there a footrest?

Yes. The wire frame includes a rail near the bottom that serves as a footrest.

Does it swivel?

No. The Wire stool is a fixed base. For a swivel, look at the Eiffel Pyramid-MW or Max swivel stools.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 300 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather seats are the least expensive, PPM and boucle seats are mid-priced, and Camira Blazer wool and genuine leather cost the most. The gold base adds a surcharge.

Can I order my own fabric?

Yes. The seat takes 1.1 yd of fabric or 19 sq ft of leather. Contact us for customer's-own-material orders.
