Base finishes

The Eiffel Tower is the Mid-Century classic in this family: the upholstered shell rides on four legs braced by crossed steel wires, the lattice base that gives the whole collection its name. It brings a retro, graphic note to kitchens, cafes and dining rooms, and the wire bracing keeps the base rigid without making it heavy. Choose chrome for the traditional look, black for a sharper outline, red for a pop of color, or gold for a dressier table. Unlike molded plastic versions, the seat is fully upholstered over a sprung steel frame and molded foam, with a removable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
