Base finishes

The Eiffel Sword stands on four flat steel blades that angle out from a swivel hub under the seat, a sharper, more sculptural take on the star base. The seat turns freely, so it suits kitchen tables, game tables and restaurant tables where people shift to talk without dragging the chair. The blades come in black or gold, or clad in walnut or natural wood veneer for a Mid-Century look that still has the strength of steel. The shell is the sprung Eiffel seat, a steel frame with S-shaped springs and molded foam, under a removable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
