Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S and PPM-FR are polyurethane performance leathers that wipe clean; the beige boucle is a soft looped fabric. Camira Blazer is a contract-grade wool, and genuine leather is the top tier. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Eiffel Star stands on four slender steel-tube legs that splay out from a central hub under the seat, a Mid-Century stance that looks light from every angle. Legs come in black, gold, stainless steel, or steel wrapped in walnut or natural wood veneer, and two versions add a metal ring between the legs: black with a gold ring, or walnut veneer with a stainless steel ring, which doubles as a foot rest and stiffens the base. Adjustable caps can be added to level the chair on uneven tile or stone. The shell is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs and molded foam under a removable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
