The Eiffel Handle Back chair sets the molded Eiffel shell on a sled-style metal base that rises behind the backrest into a pull handle, so the chair is easy to draw out from the table and to straighten at closing time. Pick a base in solid chrome wire, chrome tube or black powder-coated tube. The seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs under molded polyurethane foam, upholstered in faux leather that wipes clean. It suits busy cafés, restaurant banquette fronts and modern kitchens where chairs move all day.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

What is the difference between wire and tube bases?

The wire base is solid chrome-plated steel rod; the tube bases are hollow steel tube in chrome or black powder coat. Both carry the same 350 lb rating.

How high is the seat?
