Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S and PPM-FR are polyurethane performance leathers that wipe clean; the beige boucle is a soft looped fabric. Camira Blazer is a contract-grade wool, and genuine leather is the top tier. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Eiffel Classy with Armrest keeps the standard Eiffel shell and gives it slim metal arms that are part of the leg frame, so the arms read as thin lines rather than bulky upholstery. It is a good head-of-table chair next to Eiffel Classy side chairs, and comfortable enough for long meetings and desk work. Because the arms are metal, they wipe clean and hold up to restaurant use, and the open sides let the chair tuck partly under most tables. The frame comes in chrome, grey, bone, red or gold; the sprung seat has molded foam under a removable cover.

Planning notes

• The seat is 18 in high and the arms 25 in; check the arms clear your table apron, which should sit at about 26 in or higher.
• At 22.5 in wide, plan about 27 to 28 in of table edge per armchair.
• The seat uses the standard Eiffel shell, so seat colors match the Eiffel Classy side chair exactly.
• Grey, bone and red frames are painted; chrome and gold are plated.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Will the arms fit under my table?

The arms are 25 in high. They clear tables whose apron or underside sits at about 26 in or higher.

How is this different from the Eiffel Classy Dining Armchair?

This chair uses the armless Eiffel seat with metal arms built into the frame. The Classy Dining Armchair uses the Eiffel Arm shell, where the arms are part of the upholstered seat.

Which frame colors are offered?

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 300 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather seats cost the least, PPM and boucle are in the middle, and Camira Blazer wool and genuine leather are the top tier. The gold frame adds a surcharge.
