Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S, S-PPM and Italian PPM are polyurethane performance leathers, and boucle is a soft looped fabric. Camira Blazer wool, genuine leather and top-grain leather are the premium seats. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Eiffel Arm Tower pairs the wide, winged Eiffel armchair shell with a tall wire base that rises in a narrow tower of crossed steel rods. It is a dining armchair for kitchen tables, restaurant two-tops and conference rooms where a light, see-through base keeps a run of chairs from looking heavy. The tower stands on four fixed feet, so the chair stays where you set it and does not swivel. Under the upholstery is a steel seat frame with S-shaped springs and molded polyurethane foam, finished with a removable Velcro slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Tower base swivel?

No. The Tower is a fixed four-foot wire base. For a swivel armchair, look at the Eiffel Arm Stick, Sword, 4 Star or Round models.

Will the arms fit under my table?

The arms are 25 in high. Most dining tables have an apron around 24 to 26 in from the floor, so measure the underside of your table before you order.

What colors does the base come in?

Chrome, black, red and gold.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 300 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather seats cost the least, PPM and boucle seats sit in the middle, and Camira Blazer wool and genuine or top-grain leather cost the most. The gold base adds a surcharge over chrome, black and red.

Can the seat be reupholstered later?

Yes. The cover is a Velcro-fastened slipcover that can be removed and replaced with professional help.
