Frame finish

Drops is a dining armchair with a solid ash frame in a walnut finish, a woven acrylic rope back and a loose upholstered seat cushion, so it reads as light and handcrafted rather than heavy. The rope gives a little as you lean back, and the open arms make it easy to slide in and out at the table. Cushions come in PPM-FR, boucle or Camira Blazer wool. Use a set around a dining table in Japandi, Coastal and Mid-Century rooms, or put a pair at the ends of a long harvest table; for commercial dining the maker recommends adding stretchers when ordering.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

The arms are 26.6 in high. Most dining tables with a 27 in or higher apron let the arms slide under; measure yours first.

What is the back made of?

The back and sides are woven acrylic rope on a solid ash frame in a walnut finish. Acrylic rope keeps its shape and color.

Is the cushion removable?

Yes. The 17 x 17 in seat cushion sits loose on the frame, so it can be lifted out for cleaning.

Can it be used in a restaurant?

Yes, it is rated for 350 lb. For commercial use the maker recommends stretchers between the legs; contact us before ordering.

Why do the prices differ?

PPM-FR and boucle cushions share the lower price. Camira Blazer wool cushions cost more.
