Leg finishes

The Dervish Baba stool sets the compact Dervish bar seat on four solid wood legs, a sturdy, carpentry-style base with a crafted, Japandi feel. Choose teak in a deep wenge finish that reads almost black, or sungkai in a pale white-oak finish for light, Scandinavian kitchens. Order it fixed, or add the memory swivel so the seat turns and returns to face the counter; the mechanism raises the seat by about 1 in. A spring-supported steel frame cased in polyurethane foam forms the seat, and its zippered cover can be changed by an upholsterer.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
