Base finish

This Dallas Piston stands on a square brushed stainless steel base, a crisp, architectural footprint that lines up neatly along a rectangular island. A lever under the upholstered seat raises or lowers it on a gas piston from 22 to 29.5 in, so the same stool works at a counter or a bar, and the seat swivels. A curved half footrest sweeps across the front of the column. The Dallas seat has a sprung steel frame and molded foam, with a slipcover that comes off for replacement.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
