Base finishes

Corona Wire is the color-forward member of the Corona stool family: the plywood seat sits on a minimal solid-wire base offered in chrome, black, white, bone, red or gold, so you can match a brand palette or make the stools the accent at an island. The wire frame has a built-in footrest and stays visually light, which helps long runs of stools at cafe and restaurant counters. A removable pad cushions the seat and lower back and can be changed independently of the base. It is a slightly lower stool than most, with a 22.5 in counter seat and 28.5 in bar seat.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Counter or bar height?

The counter stool has a 22.5 in seat for 34 to 36 in counters. The bar stool has a 28.5 in seat for 39 to 41 in bars. The pad adds about an inch.

Which wire colors are available?

Is there a footrest?

Yes. The wire base includes a footrest rail.

Why do the prices differ?

The gold base costs more than the other colors, and Camira Blazer wool pads cost more than faux leather, nubuck, boucle and Camira Era pads.

How is it different from the Handle Back Wire stool?

Corona Wire has no handle loop and offers more base colors and slightly lower seats. The Handle Back Wire comes in chrome or black with a pull handle behind the back.
