Seat upholstery. Faux leather and PPM-FR are wipeable polyurethane leathers, smoke grey nubuck is a soft brushed fabric, and Camira Blazer is a pure-wool contract fabric. The back shell is American walnut plywood on every color. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Corona Handle Back Wire Comfort stool pairs the Comfort seat, a padded channel-stitched cushion on a plywood seat with an American walnut plywood back shell, with a wire sled base whose frame rises behind the back as a handle. That wire loop is the useful part: it gives a grip to pull the stool out, and it protects the walnut shell from bumps against the counter edge. Chrome reads crisp and Modern; black suits Industrial lofts. The 230 lb rating and sled runners make it a sturdy pick for cafe counters and busy family islands.

• Counter version: 24 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters. Bar version: 29 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• The handle loop sits behind the back, so allow about 2 in more clearance behind the stool than for a plain shell.
• Plan about 21 in of counter per stool.
• The sled runners glide over tile and concrete; use felt on soft wood.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
