Seat upholstery. Choose the standard Capri back or the low-back stool seat at the same price. PPM, Italian PPM and PPM-S are polyurethane performance leathers; white boucle and Camira Era are woven fabrics; Camira Blazer wool is the premium cover. Leg finishes

The Capri Wood stool brings the shaped Capri seat to counter or bar height on four solid wood legs joined by a footrest. You can order it with the full Capri back or with the low-back stool seat, which tucks neatly under a counter overhang and keeps sight lines open across a kitchen; both cost the same. Legs come in beech with a walnut or wenge finish, solid American walnut, or black sandblasted ash with a brass footrest. The seat is a sprung steel frame molded in polyurethane foam, deep enough at 18 in for long sittings.

Planning notes

• Counter (24 in seat) suits 35 to 37 in counters; Bar (29 in seat) suits 40 to 42 in bars.
• Allow 24 to 26 in of counter per stool; the stool is 19 in wide.
• Choose the low back if the stools sit in front of a window or across a room you want to see over.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and leg combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

What is the difference between the standard and low back?

The standard seat has the full Capri back; the low-back seat is a shorter stool back that sits lower against the counter. Both are the same price.

Counter or bar height?

Counter (24 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; Bar (29 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Does it have a footrest?

Yes. The legs are joined by a footrest; on the black sandblasted ash base it is brass.

Why do the prices differ?

PPM, PPM-S, boucle and Camira Era seats are the lower tier and Camira Blazer wool is the upper tier. Solid American walnut legs add a surcharge; counter and bar heights, and standard and low backs, cost the same.

Black, white, bone and red PPM, caramel and light grey Italian PPM, and turquoise and grey Camira Era fabric.
